One thing about friends gathering is tat you always find the cliches popping around the table like a pingpong ball, "Hi, long time no see...." or "What do you do?" or "Where you're working now..." or "You're prettier now..." or.. "Where you're studying... "
or if topics run out.... "Are you married?" .. " How's your dad n mom?".. "How's your grand ma grand pa?"
Well.. these are things we know, and if you go for a gathering with long-lost friends, always be prepared for such casual interviews. But to my amaze, this time tis friend of mine he did it in a very different way. Well, he did use the cliche, "What do you do?"
But the facial expression which he gave, and his body language - well it gave me the impression tat he's really interested to know, oh, who cares if he'll forget it later or not, but he made it as though he's really gonna remember it. And the way he asked, it's as if he really cared!
So this kinda changed the mundane scene of "interviewings".. with a bit of jokes here n there... the dinner was fun! Though everybody used the same-old-cliches. ;-)
My point - cliche is not a problem. But the facial and body languages make a whole lot of differences. *wink.
