KUCHING: Australian motivational speaker Nick Vujicic, who was born without arms and legs, will be here to share his story in a series of talks tomorrow.
His talk entitled No Hands, No Legs, No Worries is open to the public at the Association of Churches Sarawak building in Jalan Stampin.
Vujicic: On a 10-week tour of 10 countries in Africa and Asia.
Blessed Church pastor Lim Gee Tiong, who invited Vujicic to speak here, said it was a not-to-be-missed opportunity for members of the public to listen to an inspiring young man.
“Nick’s story is full of hope and life. He is full of smiles and even pokes fun at himself to make light of his disability and bring joy to people,” Lim told reporters at a press conference recently.
“As a church, we are bringing Nick to show people that there is hope in the midst of economic uncertainties and disabilities,” he said.
He added that Vujicic, 26, was on a 10-week tour of 10 countries in Africa and Asia.
“This weekend is a break for him, and we are privileged that he agreed to come here,” Lim said.
It will be Vujicic’s first visit to Kuching. He was in Peninsular Malaysia previously on a five-day speaking tour in 2006.
