God, man and Satan
God promised to bruise Satan's head- not directly, but through the seed of the woman. The seed of Satan would in turn bruise mankind's heel. This established the grounds for spiritual warfare. Satan is working through mankind to do his business on the planet.
And God is working through mankind to defeat the enemy. .
This is what has been happening throughout history.

God, man and Satan
Yet Satan does not have complete authority. He cannot simply rule the world. He operates the same way today as he did in Eden, usurping what God has given man. Man gave his authority to Satan, but Satan can only use it through man. He can only influence the world to the degree that man chooses to sin and live in disobedience to God.
This is what we might call the balance of power.

Siao Guai Guai - a dog looking for a good owner
That morning, Siao Guai Guai walked towards me, and as I placed the collar around him - he lowered his head, and allowed! Then as i started to walk him on leash he was so gleeful, kept skiping about, proud tat he's got an owner alas!
Sadly, I cant be his owner.. I'll keep praying tat he'll get a good owner.. And pray that the dog catchers will always fail in their daily endeavours. So please do ask around for me ok..
He's a good guard dog.. docile and loving to his owner.. a puppy at heart.. 7-9 mth old.. castrated male.. about 13-14kg.. no skin prob - yellow colour hair coat... vaccinated... clean and bathed..
Pls spread the news and ask around.. and if you are able to adopt him.. pls kindly do so..
God bless the kind hearted ones and to all who lent a hand in rehoming Siao Guai Guai..
Pls contact me if you or someone whom you know, is interested in adopting a dog. I desperately need to find him a new home... I named him Siao Guai Guai, coz he's a real obedient, ever-trying to please his owner, and a good guard dog too. Pls spread the news around. He's currently staying with me.

Siao Guai Guai - a dog looking for a good owner
Just now as I was walking my dog at nite, I went to Siao Guai Guai's usual area - and I saw him again! I was so glad and thankful that he's still safe, but what will happen tomoro? My home doesn't allow a 2nd dog, not even for temporary. I couldn't think of another resort - my only hope rest in finding someone to adopt him ASAP, before the dog catchers come another round.
I prayed n prayed, and suddenly my sister called me - she asked me to place the dog at her house temporarily, despite her keeping 2 dogs in her house! I was so thankful.. so today i brought the dog to get him vaccinated, bathed him.. I'll place him at my sister's house for the time being..
I do hope someone kind will be interested to adopt Siao Guai Guai. Pls ask around for me. ok , ok?? I tried walking Siao Guai Guai on leash - and he's really very obedient, ever people-loving. I mean he tries his best to please you, never tug on the leash. so much better compared to many other dogs, even better than my own Toff.
This morning I tied him in my car - he wanted to escape (expected la. stray dog ma) but when i started to drive- he sat there quietly. He's a stray, thus wild at heart.. but his heart is really loving and obedient.. i'm sure he can be tamed.. with time.. and a good owner...

Siao Guai Guai - a dog looking for a good owner
The nite before yesterday it rained very heavily again. I couldn't help but to think of him, and I prayed. Yesterday morning as I was walking my dog, suddenly i saw a van of dog catchers with some dogs in it. I was so worried, could he been caught???! I kept praying, and rushed to the vicinity where i usually spotted him. Thank God I found him playing around by the road side.
So i quickly went home, took a leash and collar, I intended to keep him till the dog catchers leave. However when I reached there, i couldn't find him anymore. I was really very sad, regret, worried.. but I cast everything into my prayers - if only I see him around again, I'll try my best to help him find a good owner...

God, man and Satan
Satan in the form of a serpent was in the Garden when God gave authority to man. Later the devil approached Eve. Why? Why did he go to such lengths to deceive her?
He did so partly to get back at God- to hurt Him. But there was more. Adam and Eve had something of tremendous value to Satan. Satan wanted the authority God had given to man.
Although he was on the planet, the devil did not have authority and jurisdiction over the planet. Satan realized that authority is a legally based reality, so he went to Eve and tempted her. What he was really saying was, "Why don't you sign over some of your authority to me?"

'Rule of law over oath-swearing'
BANGI: Swearing on the Quran is not in accordance with the concept of the rule of law, said one of Malaysia's most distinguished lawyers, Raja Aziz Addruse.
Raja Aziz, who is also former Bar Council chairman, said it was the courts that decided whether one had committed an offence or not.
"It is not for you to say, 'I didn't commit because now I'm swearing it' ... . That is not according to our rule of law," he said at Malaysia Think Tank's seminar on rule of law here on Sunday.
"How did we get to this stage? How can people bypass the law by swearing on the Quran?" he said in response to a question by a participant at the seminar on whether swearing on the Quran was regarded as undermining the court.
"It does seem to be a strange procedure for proving innocence. It is nothing. It's not a procedure the court allows for," he added.....

Blood Donation Drive @ Canaan Church, KL @ 7th Sep 2008 11am-3pm- kempen derma darah
Top 10 Excuses people don't donate blood (...continued)
6. My blood isn't the right type
Every type of blood is needed daily to meet patient needs. If you have a common blood type, there are many patients who need it, so it is in high demand. If you have a less common blood type, there are fewer donors available to give it, so it is in short supply.
7. I don't have any blood to spare
The average adult body has 10-12 pints of blood. Doctors say that healthy adults may give regularly because the body quickly replaces the blood you donate.
8. I don't want to feel weak afterward
Donating blood should not affect adversely a healthy adult because your body has plenty of blood. You will donate less than one pint, and your body, which constantly makes new blood, will replace the donated volume within 24 hours. Most people continue their usual activities after donating.
9. They won't want my blood (I am too old / I've had an illness)
If you have doubts, check with your physician. The qualified staff on duty at a blood drive or donor center will also review your medical history with you. There is no upper age limit to donate blood with the American Red Cross, and a great many medical conditions do not prevent you from donating blood, or may have done so only temporarily in the past.
10. I have a rare blood type, so I'll wait until there is a special needB
Blood that is rare or special is almost always in short supply. There is a constant need for these blood types in order to avoid having to recruit specific blood types in a crisis.

Blood Donation Drive @ Canaan Church, KL @ 7th Sep 2008 11am-3pm, kempen derma darah
1. I don't like needles / I am scared of needles / I am afraid to give blood
Nearly everyone feels that way at first. However, most donors will tell you that you feel only a slight initial pinch, and 7-10 minutes later, you are finished and headed for the canteen. If you take the time (and courage) to make one donation, you'll wonder why you ever hesitated.
2. I am too busy
The entire process takes about an hour, and the actual blood donation time is only 7-10 minutes. If you stop to think that an hour of your time could mean a lifetime for a premature baby, someone with cancer undergoing chemotherapy, or someone who's had an accident, you might decide that you can make the time to give the gift of life.
3. No-one ever asked me… I didn't realize my blood was needed
Consider yourself asked! There is simply no other way to supply the blood needs of hospital patients but for the generous donations of people like you.
4. I already gave this year
You can give every 56 days. Many donors give 5 times a year!
5. I am afraid I'll get AIDS
It is not possible to get AIDS by donating blood to the American Red Cross. A new sterile needle is used for each donor and discarded afterwards.

Blood Donation Drive @ Canaan Church, KL @ 7th Sep 2008 11am-3pm
10. You will get free juice and cookies.
9. You will weigh less — one pint less when you leave than when you came in.
8. It's easy and convenient — it only takes about an hour.
7. It's something you can spare — most people have blood to spare... yet, there is still not enough to go around.
6. You will walk a little taller afterwards — you will feel good about yourself.
5. You will be helping to ensure that blood is there when you or someone close to you may need it. Most people don't think they'll ever need blood, but many do.
4. It's something you can do on equal footing with the rich and famous — blood is something money can't buy. Only something one person can give to another.
3. You will be someone's hero — you may give a newborn, a child, a mother or a father, a brother, or a sister another chance at life. In fact, you may help save up to three lives with just one donation.
2. As your blood touches people's life, your life itself will be touched.
1. It's the right thing to do.

Blood Donation Drive @ Canaan Church, KL @ 7th Sep 2008 11am-3pm- kempen derma darah
A friend of mine was jumping so happily waiting for her turn to donate her blood. To her dismay, her blood iron/ferum was below the normal range. I thought, "Then don't donate, no big deal right?" But to my surprise, she spent her entire afternnon crying over it, 'I have long been waiting to donate my blood.. why does this happen to me??"
To her, being unable to donate her blood is a big-life-giving-opportunity missed. And now, I too, share her point of view. Blood is needed for emergencies and for people who have cancer, blood disorders, sickle cell, anemia and other illnesses. Some people need regular blood transfusions to live.
Imagine if giving blood was part of everyone's life. Something you did on a regular basis, like eating at your favorite restaurant. What kind of difference would that make? For nearly 5 million people who receive blood transfusions every year, your donation can make the difference between life and death.
Hope to see you on 7th Sep 11am-3pm - Give Blood, Give Life.

Would you please stop swearing?
http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/8/15/nation/20080815185456&sec=nation
btw.. here's a quote from the bible, (not sure if it's found in the quran or not)
"But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool..." ~ Matthew 5:34

I do not understand why my burden... but..
Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lense.
'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.'
She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there. She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she may find her contact lens. When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains.
She thought of the bible verse 'The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth.'
She thought, 'Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me.'
Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff they met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the cliff. One of them shouted out, 'Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?' Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it?
An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it!
The story doesn't end there. Brenda's father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption,...'Lord, I don't know why You want me to carry this thing. I can't eat it, and it's awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I'll carry it for You.'
I think it would do all of us some good to say, 'God, I don't know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it's awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will.'
God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
Yes, I do love GOD. He is my source of existence and my Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him....I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13)
