Malaysian Election 2008

March 8 is finally here!

I'm anxious, excited. With the nationwide prayers going on, I believe that Malaysia will be heading for a better government now. God willing. More oppositions in the parliament. More voices from the public. More transparency. More corruption cases disclosed and ACTIONS TAKEN AGAINST THEM. More righteous leaders upheld. More discussions before dumping millions & billions of tax payers' ringgit into the drain/dustbin. (btw, does anyone remember wat happened to the indelible ink issue?)

Better ministers to handle international interviews. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfpYZ4IGenY)

More meaningful argument/discussions in the parliament. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iCgZohPSI8) And better manners amongst the MPs.

Less discrimination.

While there are many issues to be discussed and decided upon when the new government reforms, there are a few issues which should not be forgotten.

1. Lingam case
2. Gerrymandering
3. Murder case of Johor MIC deputy chief Datuk S. Krishnasamy
4. Press freedom.
5. Judiciary independance.
6. (u name it)
