Pets are really good friends.. but sadly.. when reality sinks in, we find many dog owners abandon or give away these faithful buddies of theirs whenever they have a child.
This is a shetland sheep dog playing with a child - so adorable! =)
Please save this for the next time you hear someone say:
They have to get rid of their pet when they have a child.

The Wicker Basket and the Bible
The Wicker Basket
The story is told of an old man who lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning, Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading from his old worn-out Bible. His grandson who wanted to be just like him tried to imitate him in any way he could.
One day the grandson asked, 'Papa, I try to read the Bible just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Bible do?'
The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and said, 'Take this old wicker coal basket down to the river and bring back a basket of water.' The boy did as he was told, even though all the water leaked out before he could get back to the house.
The grandfather laughed and said, 'You will have to move a little faster next time,' and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the old wicker basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was 'impossible to carry water in a basket,' and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said, 'I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You can do this. You're just not trying hard enough,' and he went out the door to watch the boy try again.
At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he got far at all. The boy scooped the water and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, 'See Papa, it's useless!' 'So you think it is useless?'
The old man said, 'Look at the basket.' The boy looked at the basket and for the first time he realized that the basket looked different. Instead of a dirty old wicker coal basket, it was clean. 'Son, that's what happens when you read the Bible.. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, it will change you from the inside out.' Moral of the wicker basket story: Take time to read a portion of God's word each day; it will affect you for good even if you don't retain a word.

Thought for Today: God's Love is like the ocean, you can see its beginnings but not its end.
I really like this story because I don't remember things like I used to....but then I thinkGod isn't concerned about my brain anyway, He's more concerned about my heart...

Leadership people management motivation : Watch Them Blossom
Watch Them Blossom
I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:6-7
People rise or fall to meet our level of expectations for them. If you express skepticism and doubt in others, they'll return your lack of confidence with mediocrity. But if you believe in them and expect them to do well, they'll wear themselves out trying to do their best. And in the process, both of you benefit.
If you've never been one to trust people and put your faith in them, change your way of thinking and begin believing in others. Your life will quickly begin to improve. When you have faith in another person, you give him or her an incredible gift, maybe the best gift you can give another person.
Give others money, and it's soon spent. Give resources, and they may not be used to the greatest advantage. Give help, and they'll often find themselves back where they started in a short period of time. But give them your faith, and they become confident, energized, and self-reliant. They become motivated to acquire what they need to succeed on their own.
And then later if you do share money, resources and help, they're better able to use them to build a better future.Become a believer in people, and even the most tentative and inexperienced people can bloom.

World shame - animals, are sometimes, kinder than the so-called higher-human.
Denmark is a big shame. The sea is stained in red and in the meanwhile it's not because of the climate effects of nature.
It's because of the cruelty that the human beings (civilised human) kill hundreds of the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins.
This happens every year in Feroe iland in Denmark . In this slaughter the main participants are young teens.WHY?To show that they are adults and mature.... BULLLLsh

In this big celebration, nothing is missing for the fun. Everyone is participating in one way or the other, killing or looking at the cruelty “supporting like a spectator”
Is it necessary to mention that the dolphin calderon, like all the other species of dolphins, it’s near instinction and they get near men to play and interact. In a way of PURE friendship

It's the season!! Christmas is here!!!
The long-waited season is here!! Christmas day is coming.. very soon! I'm so excited! =)
Just came back from the Curve - and I got this in my handphone - I simply like singers n musicians, esp those who perform in public, in a team. And wow... the music was nice, the voice of the lady was... enchanting. ;-)
Do you really know what Christmas is about? How it came about? What lies behind this wonderful day?
Check it out. You'll be surprised... that Santa Claus is a myth, a fairy tale, with no basis and no connection to Christmas.

Thought for the day - what can you do?
Let me share with you a story about a 19 year-old boy named Johnny who works in a supermarket as a bagger. One day, he attended a training where he was challenged to think about something he could do for his customers to make them feel special.
One month later, the trainer received a phone call from Johnny. He proudly informed her that he was a Down syndrome individual and that he liked what she had shared in the training. However, initially, he did not think he could do anything special for his customers. "After all," he shared, "I'm just a bagger." Then he had an idea!
Every night after work, he would go home and find a THOUGHT FOR THE DAY. If he couldn't find a saying he liked, he would just think one up. When Johnny had a good THOUGHT FOR THE DAY, his dad helped him print out multiple copies. He would then cut out copies of each quote and bring them to work the next day. After bagging someone's groceries, he would put a THOUGHT FOR THE DAY in the bag and say, "Thank you for shopping with us."
As a result, Johnny's checkout line was 3 times longer than anyone else's! When the store manager opened up more lanes and tried to get the customers to change lanes, no one would move. They said, "No, it's okay. We want to be in Johnny's lane. We want his THOUGHT FOR THE DAY." One customer said, "I used to stop at your store once a week, but now I come in every time I go by, because I want to get Johnny's THOUGHT FOR THE DAY."
Because of Johnny's example, a wonderful spirit of service spread throughout the entire store. This happened because Johnny chose to make a difference! Johnny's idea wasn't nearly as innovative as it was loving. It came from his heart - it was sincere. That's what touched his customers and his peers. Great service comes from the heart.
Will you, by God's enabling, choose to make a difference in someone's life each day?
Yours sincerely,

Rawhide/ beefhide for dog chewing habit
Most dogs love to chew, at least in their puppyhood. However, some dogs love to chew through out. Dog owners out there, you know what kind of dog your dog is! ;-)
My dog is not very large, he's only a medium breed, but the rawhide that I choose to get for him? It's the GIGANTIC rawhide. Look at this picture below!

When I saw this rawhide at the petshop the other day, I couldn't help but to drool... and then started giggling myself. I imagined my dog's drools, and of course, how he's going to chew this raw hide out?
Boy, didn't i had a good laugh!

Jesus knows you're here.
A burglar broke into a house one night. He shone his flashlight around, looking for valuables when a voice in the dark said,
'Jesus knows you're here.'
He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze.
When he heard nothing more , after a bit, he shook his head and continued.
Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard
'Jesus is watching you.'
Freaked out, he shone his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice.
Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot.
'Did you say that?' he hissed at the parrot.
'Yep', the parrot confessed, then squawked, 'I'm just trying to warn you that he is watching you.'
The burglar relaxed. 'Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?'
'Moses,' replied the bird.
'Moses?' the burglar laughed. 'What kind of people would name a bird Moses?'
'The kind of people that would name a Rottweiler, Jesus.'
'Jesus knows you're here.'

Why I am a Christian - John Stott
Why I am a Christian - John Stott
I was reading this book, when suddenly a phrase became so real to me, my heart melted, I could see myself in the book. The author was telling my story in his book. This phrase goes like this...
Why am I a Christian? Some readers will expect me to answer like... ... ... Others may expect me to reply something like this... ... ... That also is true, but it constitutes only one side of the truth... .. Why I am a Christian is due ultimately neither to the influence of my parents and teacher, nor to my own personal decision for Christ, but to "the Hound of Heaven". That is, it is due to Jesus Christ himself, who pursued me relentlessly even when I was running away from him in order to go my own way. And if it were not for the gracious pursuit of the Hound of Heaven I would today be on the scrap-heap of wasted and discarded lives.
How true it was. Over the years, I have been "blind" and yet, Jesus persistently "pursued" me. It is a pursuit, patient but purposeful, affectionate but relentless. It was as if He have been trying to win over my heart, even after my solid rejections. He never gave me up, until the point where I had no one to turn to - Jesus was still there for me. Who am I, that He should be so mindful of me?
When I read the Scripture, I found that, I was not the only one here. Many thousand years ago, King David have written: When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? (Psalm 8:3-4)
Who am I, that God, the Almighty Lord Jesus who created the heaven and the earth, should be mindful of me? That He should be a man, and die for my sins? Who am I that I am worth His life? Why did God not just let man perish in his sins? It was man's fault that sin came into this world, but why must Jesus pay the price for us?
Questions stormed my heart and created a turbulence that I could hear my heart sobbing in a feeling, which I could not describe. Then I heard a still, small voice... "Because I love you."
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.
Jesus, I believe in you.
