How to enjoy or have a fun time together!

Life have changed ever since we graduated and embarked on a new journey in our life - pursuing a career. Stress, workload... tolerance.. communication and miscommunication have been treading on us non-stop - coz both of us work the same long hours.

Finally - a holiday walks in our way - and there we went...

on a day of relaxing.. exercise..

conquering...

"socializing"...
n replacing the calories... ha ha..

Pet/dog rehabilitation - where's the trick?

[continued from previous post]
Pet/dog rehabilitation - where's the trick?
That was one of the successful stories on how we managed to tame and befriend apparently fierce dogs in our office. Many a times, gentle, loving, and kindness does the trick.
Aggression and violence begot aggression and violence.

Gentleness, loving and kindness begot gentleness, love and trust.

Dogs are made of flesh and blood, and above these, they're just like us - emotional beings. Creatures with brains which thinks and understands.

To gain their trust, we must first trust them. Understand their inner being.

Then, given time and patience, both of you can be the best of friends you ever had. ;-)

A real dog lover?

[continued from the previous post]

After passing her the information of the shelters, she left. A few hours later, a couple with a "pregnant" shih tzu walked in to confirm the pregnancy.

I tried to feel the "babies" within her, but all I felt was a big bladder. "She didn't pass urine this afternoon, huh?"

"Oh yah, she urinated loads... how many? She's delivering tomorrow!" She smiled anxiously.

"Babies? I guess she's got none..." I smiled, fingers gently but firmly trying to feel for any possible hidden babies.

"Zero, haha..." I finally confirmed.

"What a girl you, how could you have failed?! Oh, it must have been the male - impotent." We laughed. Then the thought of the pregnant shih tzu came into my mind.

"I've an abandoned pregnant shih tzu, delivering soon, would you like to adopt her?" My eyes couldn't meet hers.
"Who's dog is it? How can people abandon their dog just like that? Pregnant, to make things worse!"

"An undeserving person. He's throwing her away, without even bother whether or not she'll be alive the next day." I tried my best to reveal as much info as possible. "The good reason he's got is that he's no longer into shih tzu, he'd prefer large breed dogs..."

After some discussion and persuassion, she finally agreed to adopt the dog, so long as the dog is a healthy one. Good news for me. I'll try my best to get the two clients in touch, who knows, the unfortunate dog may find herself a good home! =)

What do you do when your dog is pregnant?

What will your reaction be when you realize that your dog is pregnant?
But you don't know who the mr daddy is.
As The-Day approaches, how would you feel? What will run through your mind?
---
"2 more days, she'll be due.... My uncle has decided to throw her away, or give her away..."
"WHAT?!!!" I exclaimed, in exaggerated disgust.
"My uncle doesn't like the fuss, he's into large breed dogs now, like dobermann, german shepherds... shih tzu is no longer his cup of tea..."
I slowly shook my head in obvious disgust. Eyes narrowed. "People like him do not deserve dogs."
"He just called me this morning asking me to take over the dog otherwise he'll deal with it himself..."

I continued turning my head left and right in small angles. Eyes shut. Speechless.

"What do I do now??!!" My client was frustrated.
"What will you do?" I opened my eyes.

Dog holding a knife - Good dog!

Dogs are really wonderful creature. Many a times, they simply amaze me.
And I love them, very much. This is a picture taken from thestar.com.my (27 July 2009) - a dog assisting his owner, apparently the owner was preparing his shopping list.
Mr Owner, "Good dog. Now here’s a shopping list for the supermarket."

Another wedding...

It was a hot morning. I looked at my handphone clock: it's already 10.30am... I turned to pastor, hmm.. he still have some points to go. But I knew that I'm running late. The invitation card says 10am. I patiently waited until pastor finalized his sermon, then stepped out of church.

I rushed into my car, locked the doors, and took out my sifu of the day: GPS (Global positioning satellite??). Yes, I'm not gonna get lost a second time. This time the venue is Thean Hou Temple. Jalan? something something I've never heard of, but with sifu around, I'll be there soon. +glee+

Due to unfamiliarity with my sifu, I somehow got lost in a few roads, nevertheless, found my way there in 20 minutes, not bad at all, comparing to the 1 hour half las ttime at bukit bintang.

My fren is getting married!!! I was wondering, indians holding temple in Thean HouTemple? hmmm.. Anyway, when I saw Jovan ushering ppl in, I knew that I was at the right place. And my handsome fren Suren greeting ppl in the hall, yah... and there on the stage was the prince of the day, MAhen. \=)

As with all weddings, they're the perfect time for gathering of long lost frens. Met and had some talks with a few friends whom I've not seen for such a long time, victor (what a surprise to see him there!), rathna (I missed seeing her baby), kk (the MIA guy) and meeting new friends.

I was tired, very, but happy, very. On my way back, my sifu was not so kind to me, asked me to enter sprint highway, but i knew that i can get out through brickfields etc without having to pay the toll and drive the extra miles... but thank God, I finally got home, without my sifu's help. =)

Congratulations my dear fren, mahen. =) Have a blessed, blissful wedded life ahead. =)

God bless you and wife.
